Ben Carson Crushes Whoopi Goldberg With Absolute Class When She Criticizes His ‘Immigrant’ Comment

Liberal loonies are going wild over Ben Carson’s ‘racist’ statement claiming slaves were immigrants.

Here is the line that threw them off their rocker:

“There were other immigrants who came here in the bottom of slave ships, worked even longer, even harder for less. But they too had a dream that one day their sons, daughters, grandsons, granddaughters, great-grandsons, great-granddaughters might pursue prosperity and happiness in this land.”

Yeah. Seriously.

‘The View’s Whoopi Goldberg was one of the first to put in her two cents, resulting in making her look just as stupid as she really is:

“Maybe we need to get him [Carson] a history book. I mean were the slaves really thinking about the American dream? No, because they were trying to understand, ‘what the hell just happened?’”  Goldberg said.

She then referred her ‘history lesson’ back to a hit television series from the 70’s:

“How does he miss that no slave came to this country willingly? I’m sorry, Ben, ‘Roots’ watch ‘Roots,’” said Whoopi.

If Whoopi would shut her trap for just a moment instead of veer away from the FACTS, she would notably realize Ben is no racist.

Just LOOK at the who we are dealing with here:

Ben Carson responded to with class to all of his opposers:

“I’m proud of the courage and perseverance of Black Americans and their incomprehensible struggle from slavery to freedom. I’m proud that our ancestors overcame the evil and repression that we know as slavery.

The Immigrants made the choice to come to America. They saw this country as a land of opportunity. In contrast, slaves were forced here against their will and lost all their opportunities. We continue to live with that legacy…”

Well said Ben.

  1. Yes Whoopi they were forced; their own people captured them like animals and caged the while waiting on a ship to pick them up, pay for them, and sail them to Americans who sold them on the block, separating families as we now do dogs and cats. Regardless of the horror, they migrated into america, unwillingly as it was. However, Dr. Carson did not say the circumstances were the same. He stated that there were other immigrants who came here and worked like slaves and even harder….. You know very well what he said and you just put your spin on it in order to be confrontational and controversal, and try to completely turn it around. He was trying to make the point that all Americans must overcome adversity, no matter if from hard working immigrants or slavery. That is what has made america the greatest country in the world.
