Parents in a Kentucky Chick-Fil-A restaurant were horrified to find out that a man allegedly hid a cell phone in a bathroom. The phone was positioned to film young boys using the urinals. At least four boys and one adult were filmed that day.
Bryan Wilson, 31, allegedly left his cell phone propped up and recording in an inconspicuous spot on a cabinet in the bathroom. The phone was reportedly there for five hours as at least four boys and one man came into the restroom to use the urinal. One father noticed the phone and reported it to the authorities.
The incident occurred during the late afternoon and evening hours of January 9. “It’s disheartening to think that somebody would do that in a place that should be private,” said LMPD Sgt. Pat Bass.
Louisville police traced the phone back to Wilson. They also found an app on the phone that would enable him to share the footage, but police don’t believe he had the chance to spread it around. Wilson turned himself in on Monday, but is out on bail.
Wilson was charged with five counts of video voyeurism and has a court date set for February 4.
Wilson’s grandmother described him to reporters as a ‘good kid.’ She may not know him as well as she thinks she does.
