Gas stations in Washington state are resetting their price boards to accommodate double digits in preparation for fuel prices potentially reaching $10 a gallon.
According to The Post Millennial, at the 76 Gas Station in Auburn, Washington located at 1725 Auburn Way North, gas pumps have been reprogrammed to make room for double-digit pricing. In March, they still had single-digit programming.
The displays were limited to single digits as recently as March, but the surging price of gas has led to the change.
A 76 spokesperson told the Post Millennial that the change did not necessarily mean the company was predicting gas prices would reach $10 a gallon.
While President Brain-Dead Biden may not be able to count that high these days, for the rest of us, it’s a scary thought.
American Petroleum Institute senior vice president Frank Macchiarola blames rising gas prices on Biden’s mismanagement of the US oil supply.
Here’s what Machiarola said:
Unfortunately, this is becoming a trend – the administration talks about the need to increase supply and acts to restrict it. As geopolitical volatility and global energy prices continue to rise, we again urge the administration to end the uncertainty and act immediately on a new five-year federal offshore leasing program.
Gas prices have steadily increased since Joe Biden was installed. Biden launched a “war on oil” that included the end of the Keystone XL and Enbridge Line 5 pipelines. More recently, Biden canceled three sales of oil and gas leases near the Alaskan coast and in the Gulf of Mexico.
More details of this report from The Post Millennial:
Throughout eastern Washington, gas stations are running out of fuel. In the Tri-Cities (Kennewick, Pasco, and West Richland), customers are pulling up to pumps only to find notes that state the station is out of fuel, which wasn’t an issue in the past. Some stations only have diesel available.
Joe Biden just canceled a 1-million-plus acre oil lease in Alaska.
It’s like they’re intentionally trying to have high gas prices.

Western Journal commented further:
Now, Biden’s whimsical ideas of cutting fossil fuels and switching to alternative fuel sources are giving way to the cold, grim reality of fuel shortages (if they haven’t been giving way already).
One such reality exists for those Washington residents struggling to find fuel. In their local Facebook groups, members shared that more than ten gas stations are out of fuel, including Circle K’s and Exxon’s.
Biden can only blame himself for record-high gas prices.
But he won’t.
So, what does this mean for the average American? Well, if gas stations are preparing for double-digit gas prices, that means we should probably do the same.
