A Scottish mother is facing criticism for returning to work just days after giving birth to her second child.
Jaelyn Cox, a 29-year-old woman from Scotland, has come under fire for returning to work as an exotic dancer just five days after giving birth to her second child. While some mothers recover quickly after childbirth, others take longer, particularly those who have undergone a C-section. However, Jaelyn’s choice of profession has been the main reason for the backlash.
Jaelyn works as an exotic dancer at adult clubs, earning as much as $1,000 per night. She returned to work soon after giving birth to support her boyfriend and two young children.
In an interview with The Sun, Jaelyn confirmed that she was back on the pole just five days after giving birth. However, her boyfriend, Ryan, wasn’t happy about it. He felt that Jaelyn needed to rest and take care of their newborn daughter.
“He was raging, telling me I need time to rest,” Jaelyn said.
Despite his concerns, Ryan couldn’t deny the amount of money Jaelyn made working as an exotic dancer. So, he agreed to do the nighttime feedings for their daughter while Jaelyn went to work. In the morning, when she returned with loads of cash, she took over the parenting duties.
Jaelyn has been an exotic dancer for several years, and during the pandemic lockdown, she joined OnlyFans to earn more money. OnlyFans is a platform where content creators can share explicit content with paying subscribers.
Jaelyn was worried that her pregnancy would negatively impact her earnings as an exotic dancer, but it actually had the opposite effect. Customers were willing to pay more to see a pregnant woman on stage.
She even received requests for photos of her baby bump, which allowed her to keep working up until the last days of her pregnancy. Her OnlyFans work also allows her to work from home and avoid putting her children in daycare.
Despite the criticism she’s received for her profession, Jaelyn maintains that she’s a good mother who’s doing everything she can to support her family.
“I get messages from people online saying I’m a bad mum, that my kid will grow up knowing I’m a stripper and get bullied at school. I’ve had it all. But how can you say I’m a bad mum when she has everything she needs, and I’m trying to give her a good life?” she said in an interview with the Scottish Sun.
While some may disagree with Jaelyn’s choice of profession, it’s clear that she’s doing everything she can to provide for her family. She’s found a way to make a living while still being present for her children, and that’s no easy feat.
It’s important to remember that everyone has their own unique circumstances and challenges, and we should try to be understanding and supportive of one another, even if we don’t necessarily agree with their choices. At the end of the day, we all just want what’s best for our families.
Every woman is different when it comes to childbirth. Some moms pop babies out and recover very quickly. Others, especially women who undergo C-sections, have longer recovery periods. But one mom has been heavily criticized after she returned to work “too soon” after giving birth to her second child. However, most of the reason that this mom has been criticized for returning to work has to do with her choice of profession.
Jaelyn Cox, 29, entertains men at adult clubs as an exotic dancer. She has claimed that she got right back up on the pole to dance for tips only five days after giving birth to her second daughter. Cox gave birth to her little baby girl in February and returned to her career as a sex worker only days later so she could earn money to support her boyfriend and her family.
Because Cox has two children under the age of three, she needs money to support her family. She manages to take home as much as $1,000 per night working the entertainment circuit at Seventh Heaven club in the city center of Glasgow, Scottland.
In a conversation with The Sun, the exotic dancer confirmed that “I was back on the hustle five days after giving birth.”
Although she makes the majority of the money in the family working for tips as an exotic dancer, her boyfriend, Ryan, does not want her to return to work so quickly. He criticized the new mom for going to work to take her clothes off for other men while she had such a young baby at home that needed the mom’s constant care and attention.
Cox said, “He was raging, telling me I need time to rest.”
However, Ryan cannot deny that Jaelyn Cox earns a lot of money while dancing for tips. He has agreed to do the nighttime feeding for the infant and stay home with the daughters during the night. In the morning, when Cox returns home with loads of cash, she takes over the parenting duties.
Cox has been an exotic dancer for a number of years. During the pandemic lockdown, she joined OnlyFans in 2020 to earn more money showing off skin to paying customers. She needed OnlyFan’s income because the club where she typically worked was closed due to the pandemic shutdown.
Jaelyn Cox was worried when she first became pregnant. She feared that her baby bump would make her receive fewer tips from paying customers. In reality, she was given more money as the men wanted to see the pregnant woman take off her clothes while on stage.
She confessed that some customers would pay her for photos of her baby bump. This allowed her to keep dancing right up to the last days of her pregnancy, which helped her keep the money flowing so she could keep her family fed and housed.
Her OnlyFans work allows the mother to work from home without having to put her children in daycare. She takes nude photos while the girls are in the other room and posts the content to her subscribers.
In an interview with the Scottish Sun in December 2021, she said: “I get messages from people online saying I’m a bad mum, that my kid will grow up knowing I’m a stripper and get bullied at school. I’ve had it all. But how can you say I’m a bad mum when she has everything she needs, and I’m trying to give her a good life?”
