MSM Propaganda Shields Creepy ‘#MeToo’ Democrat

Potential Biden running mate Stacey Abrams appeared with far-left leaning CNN anchor Don Lemon on Tuesday night, to intentionally mislead Democrat voters with party propaganda. Her deceptive attempt to shield “creepy” Joe Biden from recent sexual abuse allegations was so far over the top that CNN editor Chris Cillizza had to call Abrams out for it. “An allegation like this in the #MeToo era can’t be pushed aside with a dismissive denial,” he writes.

Nothing but Democrat party propaganda

The former Georgia state senator did more than simply downplay the charges, she went out of her way to deceptively imply the claim made by Tara Reade is entirely without merit, only because the Times couldn’t find evidence Biden abused anyone else. It wasn’t her idea either, it was party line propaganda cooked up by Biden’s campaign spin doctors. With Biden left as their only hope in the fall, the sudden karmic taste of the Kavanaugh medicine is throwing them for a mind-altering loop.

Reade, a former Senate staffer, alleges that Biden inappropriately put his hands on her in the early 1990’s. According to Stacey Abrams, “women deserve to be heard.” Not only that, she also believes that those allegations have to be investigated by credible sources.” That’s exactly why the FBI was dragged in when this happened to Brett Kavanaugh just before his confirmation to the U.S. Supreme Court. Democrats don’t need to go to that extreme this time, because Biden is a Democrat. A solidly liberal newspaper is good enough for Abrams. “The New York Times did a deep investigation and they found that the accusation was not credible. I believe Joe Biden.”

The only problem with that is that the New York Times didn’t say the accusation isn’t credible. That part was made up by the propaganda spin doctors. A list of talking points “distributed by Biden’s campaign” state, “Biden believes that all women have the right to be heard and to have their claims thoroughly reviewed. In this case, a thorough review by the New York Times has led to the truth: this incident did not happen.” That’s the story and they’re sticking to it.

What the Times did say

The story in the times does not corroborate Abrams’ claim that the accusation is “not credible” and it also destroys the “this incident did not happen” talking point. The article “Examining Tara Reade’s Sexual Assault Allegation Against Joe Biden” clearly says otherwise.

The Times interviewed Ms. Reade “on multiple days over hours.” They also talked to “nearly two dozen people who worked with Mr. Biden during the early 1990s, including many who worked with Ms. Reade.” They matched those interviews up with “the other seven women who criticized Mr. Biden last year, to discuss their experiences with him.” Everyone can agree, it was “a comprehensive piece of journalism.” No propaganda there.

The article specifically concluded, “No other allegation about sexual assault surfaced in the course of reporting, nor did any former Biden staff members corroborate any details of Ms. Reade’s allegation. The Times found no pattern of sexual misconduct by Mr. Biden.” Just because there wasn’t a “pattern” does not mean that Reade was not assaulted. The times does not say that Reade’s claim is “false.”

The Times does support the accuser

In the controversial story, The Times points out that “a friend said that Ms. Reade told her the details of the allegation at the time. Another friend and a brother of Ms. Reade’s said she told them over the years about a traumatic sexual incident involving Mr. Biden.” In other words, her brother and her friend confirm her story.

This alone shows that there is reason to do more digging. We can’t put Biden in jail for allegations and innuendo but we certainly can’t simply sweep those allegations under the rug with propaganda and pretend they don’t exist either.

It’s not often that conservatives agree with anyone on the CNN staff but Cillizza hits the nail on the head, writing, “an allegation like this in the #MeToo era can’t be pushed aside with a dismissive denial from an aide or talking points that misconstrue great reporting by the Times.”
