Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich (R) slammed Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) in his recent appearance in Fox News.
We all know Pelosi has been running a “dictatorship” in the Whitehouse, and Gingrich can’t take it anymore, He has had enough of Pelosi.
It all started during his interview with Fox News host Sean Hannity, while they were talking about spending bills, Gingrich slammed Pelosi.
Gingrich said, “Well, I think the country loses and I think—first of all—with the very few exceptions, maybe Manchin and Sinema, there aren’t any real moderates in the Democratic Party,” Gingrich said. “When push came to shove and in August every single Democrat in the Senate, every single Democrat in the House voted for a big socialist bill—that big government, socialist bill that Bernie Sanders wrote.”
He added, “I mean, how can you have a clearer message than to have an open socialist write a bill which, by the way, probably scores a $5 trillion, not $3.5 trillion; has $3 trillion in tax increases; hires 85,000 new IRS agents to harass taxpayers; apparently, according to one reading, provides for free community college for illegal immigrants so all these people at the border will get to go to college at the taxpayer’s expense cause nothing is free.”
Gingrich then turned his attention to Pelosi.
“That means it’s a taxpayer-provided college, its taxpayer-provided healthcare and so I think that this is going to be a fascinating week. Pelosi has been very tough. She runs a dictatorship. She’s been twisting arms. She’s now starting to break them.” Gingrich concluded.
Gingrich said earlier in the day on “Fox & Friends” that when it comes to these spending bills, Pelosi is heading into a “suicidal week” for the Democrats.
Gingrich said, “What I’m watching, I think, is a transition from the donkey to the lemming as the animal that typifies the Democrats and she’s about to take 40 or 50 Democrats off a cliff, but I have to confess as a former speaker, her exercise of power is remarkable, She’s moved from twisting arms to breaking them. I think she’s on the edge now of kneecapping people, but she’s getting them inch by inch to go where she wants them to go, and I wouldn’t bet against it this week, but from my perspective in the long run, it’s a suicidal week for the Democrats.”
“We did a survey and free-market capitalism beats big government socialism by 59 to 16, and she’s walking them right off a cliff of big government socialism,” he added. “If only one out of every six Americans agrees with you, then when you finally get around to an election, you just get slaughtered.”
Gingrich, like millions of other Americans, sees right through Pelosi and knows she’s as crooked as they come. She is the very last person who should be in charge of Congress, and the American people deserve far better.
