Ouch….Jeff Bezos Just Spoke Up And Ripped Biden A New One!

Amazon founder Jeff Bezos has criticized Joe Biden over his tweet that mentioned inflation could be brought down by taxing large corporations.

Well, this kind of sentiment is not new for Elon Musk, we know how he distrusts Biden on a daily basis, but it’s totally new for the second richest man Bezos to be this outspoken about Biden’s inept leadership.

On Saturday, May 14, Bezos criticized Joe Biden over a tweet regarding taxing large corporations to counter inflation. Bezos said that the Disinformation Board should analyze POTUS’ tweet or they even need to set up a new Non-Sequitur Board.

Bezos’ strong response came after Biden opined that inflation could be brought down by ensuring that wealthier corporations pay the taxes.

Here’s what Bezos said in a tweet:

“The newly created Disinformation Board should review this tweet, or maybe they need to form a new Non-Sequitur Board instead. Raising corp taxes is fine to discuss. Taming inflation is critical to discuss. Mushing them together is just misdirection.”

Bezos has been silent about Biden for the last year, so now, many were shocked that he called out Biden admin’s attention.

More details of this story from Fox News:

Former Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos believes President Joe Biden should be subject to his own newly devised Disinformation Board after he shared a tweet that seemed to conflate inflation and corporate taxation.

On Friday, Bezos shared the president’s objectionable tweet, which he labeled “misdirection,” and plainly called for it to be fact-checked.

“The newly created Disinformation Board should review this tweet, or maybe they need to form a new Non-Sequitur Board instead,” Bezos tweeted in response, claiming the two issues lacked correlation or causation.

“Raising corp taxes is fine to discuss. Taming inflation is critical to discuss. Mushing them together is just misdirection,” he added.

In Biden’s initial tweet, he asked how one could “bring down inflation” and stated the answer was taxing the “wealthiest corporations” more or forcing them to “pay their fair share.”

Biden announced the Department of Homeland Security’s new Disinformation Governance Board, which was created to combat disinformation in online social media posts, earlier this month.

The White House described the board as “nonpartisan” and “apolitical,” but it has since been widely criticized, including knocks from FCC Commissioner Brendan Carr, who described it as “Orwellian” and “unconstitutional.”

And this was reported by CNBC too:

Amazon founder Jeff Bezos took aim at President Joe Biden on Friday over a tweet that said inflation could be brought down by taxing wealthy corporations.

Biden earlier in the day tweeted: “You want to bring down inflation? Let’s make sure the wealthiest corporations pay their fair share.”

Bezos, whose company has benefited from tax credits and deductions, quoted the tweet to retort: “The newly created Disinformation Board should review this tweet, or maybe they need to form a new Non Sequitur Board instead,” the former CEO said, apparently referring to the Department of Homeland Security’s Disinformation Governance Board. “Raising corp taxes is fine to discuss. Taming inflation is critical to discuss. Mushing them together is just misdirection.”

While he didn’t call out Amazon specifically in that tweet, Biden has previously criticized the company’s tax history. Amazon paid no federal income taxes in 2017 and 2018.
