The Bartender Slipped Her A Strange Note, And It’s Going Viral For All the Right Reasons…

If you’re a girl and have ever spent an evening hanging out at the bar, chances are that you have been approached by some random guy. Great, if it’s someone polite and that you actually are interested in, but what if it’s the kind of the species that don’t take no for an answer, think that they are above everyone else, and successfully carry on radiating ‘creep vibes’?

Unfortunately, uncomfortable encounters happen all too often in bars, but one bartender’s care and attention has gone well and truly viral on social media as people pay tribute to his quick thinking.

Twitter user @trinityallie shared her story on the site, explaining how the bartender had come to her aid during an encounter she had with a creepy stranger.

“This man was harassing me and my friend and the bartender passed this note to me acting like it was my receipt! Legit the type of bartender everyone needs.” She wrote.

The note read “If this guy is bothering you, put your ponytail on your left shoulder and I’ll have him removed. He’s giving me the creeps.”

Speaking about the incident, Trinity said “He ended up having to literally yell at the guy he said ‘you need to get tf away from these girls who clearly are not interested’ & the dude said ‘that was a little aggressive’ and he said ‘well ur aggressively hitting on them & you need to leave.'”

The bartender, now identified as a man called Max, has since commented on the incident online.

He wrote “It’s something you just pick up from mentor bartenders. Eventually, you become pretty good at reading people, body language etc. This guy was giving off very weird vibes for quite a while, kept an eye on him, try to give him a chance, try to let the girls tell him no and leave it at that, but he didn’t take no for an answer.”

Max continues “He kept pestering them so eventually I kind of yelled at him and made him leave… I honestly don’t like yelling at customers or embarrassing them, but I find it’s one of the best ways to handle creeps. Calling them out in front of people is usually the best way to get them to turn tail and walk away.”

He added, “I just don’t need my guests feeling uncomfortable.”

The image sparked a massive reaction, with many praising the bartender for taking action.

One person wrote, “This guy is amazing. He is an example of caring for strangers because very simply it’s the right thing to do! Restores my faith in humans! Good for you for making a big deal out of his wonderful actions.”

“HERO!!!!  We need more people to stand up when they see such actions! These two ladies were very lucky to have this bartender!!,” another added.

“Aww, amazing story, and it is all over the online news here in the UK too!! I think you should come on our Breakfast/chat shows over here and talk about it some more 🙂 there definitely need to be more lovely people like him looking out for us girls and kicking out the wrong ones.”

“I hate guys who harass you and then act like YOU’RE the one out of line when you blow up at them.”
