The 22-year-old recently showcased her fit physique at Paris Fashion Week, modeling a ready-to-wear outfit from an Italian label. Ella, not biologically related to Harris, is the daughter of Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff and his first wife, Kerstin.
Ella’s daring Paris Fashion Week appearance made headlines as she confidently displayed her toned abs in her ensemble. Sporting drawstring pants, her dark curls cascading down her shoulders, and accentuated her look with a white Miu Miu handbag, matching shoes, and her signature wire-rimmed glasses, she captivated onlookers.
When asked about her Paris Fashion Week experience, Ella told Women’s Wear Daily, “It doesn’t feel so daunting. I understand what it takes – sort of the emotional and physical drain that happens. It’s all about the balance of going out, meeting people, and having fun but also taking the time to relax.”
Ella first caught the public eye during President Joe Biden’s inauguration in January 2021, donning a Miu Miu tartan coat with crystal-encrusted shoulders. Subsequently, she made her presence felt at Stella McCartney’s fall 2022 show just a day after her appearance in Paris.
The past year has been a whirlwind for Ella, who graduated from Parsons School of Design, participated in her first Vogue photoshoot, and debuted on the haute couture runway at Balenciaga’s show. As a high-fashion model, Ella is also making strides in the world of design, announcing her handmade knitwear line to be released in 2022.
In a January Instagram post, Ella excitedly informed her followers and fans that her distinctive knitwear line would be available on her personal website by “end of March/early April.” The collection includes approximately twenty items, such as sweaters, scarves, pants, skirts, and various accessories.
Speaking with Women’s Wear Daily, Ella emphasized her dedication to her craft, stating, “I’m a one-woman show. It’s been extreme labor of love. It’s cute and as authentic to myself as I can be.” While her Paris appearance garnered praise for her fit figure, it’s crucial to acknowledge Ella’s intelligence and talent. After graduating with honors and modeling at 17, she also manages her own fashion line, singlehandedly designing and manufacturing her creations.
