An avid supporter of ‘Go Green’ initiatives, Barack Obama, reportedly installed three propane tanks at his Martha’s Vineyard property amid rising gas prices in the United States.
This is the best example of Democrats’ Hypocrisy in action.
And the cost of installing the large tank and filling it with gas could cost up to $75,000.
This is coming from a man who is so concerned about global warming. Why wouldn’t he install windmills and solar panels instead?
Here’s what MV Times reported:
The select board approved a request for a 2,500-gallon commercial propane tank for 79 Turkeyland Cove Road in Katama — owned by former President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama.
“We’ve never had a private propane tank come to us,” said select board member Arthur Smadbeck, with select board member Michael Donaroma noting a private-residence propane tank is typically a fraction of the quantity being requested.
These three propane tanks were to be installed above ground on the Obamas’ property, in contrast with the initial report that it will be buried. And as confirmed by The Daily Caller news, the tanks are to be used for “residential purposes.”

Propane gas is a type of liquefied petroleum gas, and it is mostly produced as a by-product of natural gas processing, per Sharp Energy. It is known for being one of the cleanest burning fuels available and was used as a clean fuel many years before the recent interest in green energy pushed by Democrats including Barack Obama.
Propane is a fossil fuel and is listed as an approved clean alternative fuel under the Clean Air Act of 1990.
“You might be surprised to know that propane, made when methane is purified for commercial use, takes its place on the carbon continuum close to the renewables, which is why the EPA has designated propane a clean energy alternative and why propane is designated a clean energy alternative under the Energy Policy Act of 1992,” FS company stated.

Of course, folks online blasted Obama for his hypocrisy after requesting three propane gas tanks on his estate while pushing for green energy.
