The Congressional Baseball Game Just Told Us A Lot About the Midterms

Later this month, climate activists had promised to disrupt Thursday’s Congressional Baseball Game, but in the end, it was pouring rain that delayed the action, and later on, arrested for lack of civility.

During the 87th Congressional Baseball Game and fundraiser on Thursday,  three climate protestors were arrested after blocking an entrance to the Nationals Park in Washington D.C.

A group of climate activists sat down outside the gates of the stadium chanting “shut it down,” and held signs that read “This is a climate emergency” and “Democrats: Seal the deal on climate!”

This behavior is deserving of mockery as entitled and childish, not to mention as yet another display of the strategic brilliance of climate activists.

There was a recent example of this in the Beltway area when some activists blocked traffic by sitting down across a highway. Among those blocked from getting where he needed to go was a parolee who was legally required to report for work; they refused to move for him even after he explained his situation, and he ended up being arrested.

Going back to the game, a decisive 10-0 victory for the GOP, is a perfect analog for the state of the Democratic Party in 2022, and it sure as hell doesn’t look good for them. A red wave while libs are stuck outside fighting about the environment.

I just want to emphasize that protecting the environment is great, but it really doesn’t mean anything. Unless concrete problems are solved using concrete solutions the conversation surrounding them is pointless and largely symbolic.

With all the disastrous problems Biden’s regime brought us like soaring inflation, a looming food shortage, and an energy crisis, it’s pretty understandable why most of us don’t care about these childish acts. Americans want concrete answers to what really matters now not some chants from these activists claiming to protect the environment.

Well, I wasn’t the only one to notice the tumult:

According to Fox News, The Republicans were up 4-0 over the Democrats in the 4th inning, ahead of the delay, and ultimately won the friendly contest, shutting out their opponents 10-0.”

“Human Events” also pointed out that climate protests erupted outside of the game:

Three protesters were arrested Thursday evening after blocking one of the entrances to Nationals Park during the 87th annual Congressional Baseball Game in Washington, DC, as activists demanded lawmakers address climate change.
