On Thursday, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) was launching a diatribe about the FBI when Newsmax cut her off while she was speaking. This happened at the press conference that Greene and Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) organized where they accused the federal government of arranging the Capitol riots on January 6th.
Newsmax was the one who covered the said press con and Greene’s diatribe about the FBI could put many into the conspiracy column. It seems like something is going on in here.
Greene was first asked, “What do you believe should be the most important inquiry in American history?” During a long outburst, Greene stated this. “What’s going on with the FBI and the Department of Justice these days, exactly? Moreover, the American people and taxpayers are entitled to such answers since they are the ones who foot the bill for everything. At this point, I’m not interested in working for a government that is so focused on overthrowing regime change in our own nation that it neglects its duties to the American people.”
And while Greene was still talking the presenter of Newsmax cut Greene off at this moment.
He then remarked, “All right, Marjorie Taylor Greene.” It was good to have Congressman Matt Gaetz there to provide some of the Republican points that were missing from President Biden and the Democrats today.”

Newsmax is obviously playing both sides here. Or maybe because that’s the optics many are taking from how they have dealt with some Trump-backed voices?
Aside from Greene, it can also be remembered that MyPillow’s Mike Lindell was also cut off he was speaking about voter fraud and Dominion Voting.
