A Major Celeb Is In Huge Trouble For What A Video Caught Him Doing In A Store…

Controversial actor Ray Buffer has been accused of shoplifting for hundreds of dollars worth of rare comics by two California comic stores — and security footage from both stores appears to show the little star involved in the act.

Southern California Comics said that Buffer, who was in the hit TV shows “ER” and “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” stole more than $600 worth of comics from the store. They have further taken legal action by filing a police report with SDPD and handing over evidence to police, including their security footage.

A Facebook post shows a video of a man inside the store who seems to be hiding comics under his shirt.

Jamie Newbold, the owner of Southern California Comics, told The Post that after he posted a picture of an unidentified man on social media to warn other comic book stores about a possible thief, other stores said the man was Buffer.

He said that a Los Angeles comic shop sent him the video of what seemed to be the same person committing another theft in their store.

Newbold said that the possible crime against his store happened on Tuesday and on Thursday he filed a report with San Diego police. He gave The Post the number of the police report and hopes that the investigation into what happened will pick up this week. He said that at least 6–7 comics were missing.

“This is Ray Buffer. Our camera captured him stealing comics by concealing them in his shirt,” Southern California Comics posted on Facebook. “We discovered the crime and watched the surveillance video until we saw this. We are sending all the info over to the police.”

The video, which was reportedly captured by Metropolis Comics staffers in Bellflower, shows the owner confronting Buffer after he appeared to see him make the same move, pointing out that he was in front of the camera.

That incident saw the repressed actor — who has a bit of a part in the recently released Brad Pitt movie Bullet Train — put the comics back and leave when the owner threatened to call the police.

After failing to make it big in Hollywood, Buffer has worked in several strange theaters and acting gigs in recent years, such as musical theater and commercials.

Complementing his roving acting career with gigs as contract Santa and freelance graphic design, Buffer has since deleted all of his social media accounts, alleging he is being harassed by the store owners.

The allegations were first reported by TMZ and the San Diego Police Department confirmed that a report had been made about the theft at Southern California Comics. No charges have been made against Buffer.

“We offered him the choice of either returning our property (we know what he took because an earlier part of the video has him holding the books) or we turn it over to the law. He emailed us and claimed we are harassing him,” Southern California Comics said in the Facebook post.

Several news outlets tried to get a comment from Buffer, but they didn’t hear back. According to his IMDb page, Buffer had very small roles in single episodes of TV shows like “CSI: Miami,” “Gilmore Girls” and “Cold Case.”
