Candace Owens, a conservative commentator, recently targeted Kim Kardashian and her mother, Kris Jenner, with some harsh words during a Daily Wire talk show. She accused Jenner of being a manipulative “pimp” who sought to capitalize on her daughter’s sex tape to boost her fame.
Owens expressed her disgust at the alleged scheme involving the release of Kardashian’s sex tape with Ray J in the early 2000s. In a May interview with the Daily Mail, Ray J claimed that the tape was strategically “released like an album” by the Kardashian family. He insisted that he never leaked any sex tapes and that the release was a collaborative effort between himself, Kris Jenner, and Kim Kardashian.
Citing Ray J’s account, Owens called for her conservative audience to boycott Kim Kardashian and her entire family.
She stated, “Kim Kardashian is a prostitute; her mother is a pimp — worse than a prostitute.” She continued, “Kim Kardashian is a corpse; she’s a body without a soul… She is so emblematic of the society that we live in today that if you are willing to degrade yourself, if you are willing to denigrate yourself, then our society, our American society, will give you more.”
Owens further criticized Jenner for exploiting her daughter’s intimate tape to secure fame and fortune. She remarked, “A mother sat down and decided to sell her daughter’s body for fame and money, and she was successful.”
As a mother of two, Owens took issue with Kris Jenner for allowing her daughter to engage in premarital sex and then using the sex tape to make the family famous. She expressed disbelief that any mother would release “various tapes of her daughter having sex with a boyfriend out of wedlock.” Owens lamented the fact that the plan succeeded, with Kardashian now being a billionaire who continues to sell sex.
