Illegal Immigration US News

As he said, Trump is keeping his promises to deport illegal immigrants. NO WASTE OF TIME.

USA Today reports:

Deputizing local police officers from around the country to enforce the nation’s immigration laws is one plan being proposed to President-elect Donald Trump to fulfill his pledge to crack down on undocumented immigrants.

The list of proposals carried by Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach also addressed Trump’s campaign pledge to cut off the program that accepts Syrian refugees and to enhance screening of people from countries with ties to terrorism.

The so-called 287(g) program on the list allows the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency to train local police officers and sheriffs deputies to locate and catch undocumented immigrants living in their communities.

The program was created by Congress in 1996 and used by President George W. Bush. By 2010, local officers in 24 states were trained and empowered by ICE to respond to crime scenes, make traffic stops and check local jails to determine the immigration status of suspects.

The program was largely phased out by President Obama. Local officers now only work in local jails, not on the street.

  1. Can please remove the trashing of women’s body’s on Your news. It doesn’t speak well of your news. It’s basically porn. So please remove the trash.

  2. Am in favor of deporting (1) those from the Middle East whose goals are the overthrow of the USA, (2) those from other lands who have committed violent crimes.
The remainder, those brought here as children, those who came here as victims of violence, those who are here and actually contributing in a positive way should be dealt with on a case-by-case basis.
And we need to stop the flow, not only across the southern border, but the northern border, the seaboards and international airports as well. A screeching halt need to be made in importing workers on special visas and real enforcement of time limits on visas, i.e. “career” student visas.
