While Hillary Clinton was being propped up by both staffers and a pole before collapsing at the 9/11 memorial service, Donald Trump was mingling with the masses and paying his respects to the lives lost and the shattered lives of their loved ones.
“Fifteen years ago, America suffered the worst terrorist attack in its history. Thousands of mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, and innocent American children were murdered by radical Islamic terrorists,” Donald Trump said in a statement regarding the 15th anniversary of the 9/11 terror attack.
Both Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton agreed to suspend all campaigning and their ads for 24 hours in a show of respect for the solemness of the day.
“Today, we mourn for all the lives lost. We mourn for all the children who had to grow up without a mom or dad and for all the parents who’ve had to struggle on without their children,” Trump also said, according to the statement shared by Liberty Writers News. “We will never forget.”
Donald Trump has long been heralded for the aid he offered to his fellow New Yorkers in the weeks and months after the Twin Towers fell.
After attending the 9/11 memorial service, Trump walked among the folks on the NYC sidewalks he knows so well and then visited a local FDNY firehouse.
“In that darkest hour, the entire world bore witness to the strength and courage of our mighty nation. Firefighters, police officers, and port authority workers rushed into danger, into smoke, into fire to save the lives of people they had never met — performing their sacred duties until their last moments on Earth. Heroes like Father Mychal Judge who tended to the dead and dying until he too joined them in Heaven. These were the finest and bravest and toughest people that could ever grace a city,” Donald Trump added in his statement about the tragedy that caused almost 3,000 deaths and a hole in the hearts of far too many Americans.
Even though Hillary kept her no campaigning bargain, the bulk of the news covered on September 11th and in the days since have been all about her—but not in a way she would ever have wanted.
As previously reported by the Angry Patriot, there are reports from multiple credible news outlets indicating the Democrat Party may be considering replacing the career politician on the ticket due to mounting concerns about her medical issues.
Hillary may have also planned to release a touching statement about the 9/11 terror attack, but she was whisked away in a possibly handicap accessible van and quickly ushered behind closed doors before she could say a single word about the 15th anniversary of the horrific terror attack on American soil.
