A Houston, Texas, homeowner says his DoorDash order arrived with a shock: the driver was naked at the door. The incident was reported by Fox 26 Houston and relayed by The Gateway Pundit.
What the video shows, per local TV
Fox 26 Houston reported that on August 24, Kiante Matlock was playing video games with his child when a delivery notification appeared. Matlock told the station he checked his camera and saw the driver “completely naked.” According to the outlet, footage shows the courier calmly placing the order on the porch before walking back to a car.
“I look out and say ‘does he got a onesie on,’” Matlock said, per Fox 26 Houston. “So I open the camera and look, and he’s completely naked.” He added, “By the time I already got to the front (door), he was already gone… I didn’t expect no one to drop my food off naked, which is crazy.”
What the homeowner did next
Fox 26 Houston reported that Matlock discarded the food and contacted DoorDash. He was refunded, according to the station’s account.
DoorDash’s response
In a statement to Fox 26 Houston, a DoorDash spokesperson said: “What this consumer experienced was abhorrent, and we’ve reached out directly to offer our support. This man’s behavior was vulgar and completely unacceptable, and as soon as we were made aware, our team permanently removed their access to our platform. We do not tolerate sexual harassment or misconduct of any kind, and we stand ready to assist law enforcement with any investigation.”
According to Fox 26 Houston’s report, the driver was permanently removed from the platform for violating DoorDash’s community guidelines.
