I love to see it when people that vehemently lie about other people get found out to be completely and totally fully of beans. Warms my heart a little bit.CNN aka the Clinton News Network has been busted over it’s pro-Hillary bias. As if video of celebrity anchor Wolf Blitzer boozing and living it up during the Democratic party convention wasn’t enough, now the network has been caught red-handed peddling a hoax.
The media pile-on to distort Republican nominee Donald Trump’s comments on the Second Amendment into a call for the assassination of his opponent has been relentless and a clear effort to bury another story on Hillary’s emails. While pundits caterwauled in outrage, the self-proclaimed most trusted name in news featured a story that claimed that Trump was being grilled by the Secret Service which was denied by the candidate even as it began to spread throughout the media echo chamber.
Then the feds also denied it, resulting in CNN being exposed as a covert arm of the Clinton campaign.
As reported by Reuters “Official: No formal Secret Service discussions with Trump camp on remark”:
A federal official on Wednesday said the U.S. Secret Service had not formally spoken with Republican Donald Trump’s presidential campaign regarding his suggestion a day earlier that gun rights activists could stop Democratic rival Hillary Clinton from curtailing their access to firearms.
Following Trump’s comment at a rally on Tuesday in which he suggested that gun rights activists could stop Clinton from appointing liberal anti-gun justices to the U.S. Supreme Court, a federal official familiar with the matter told Reuters that there had been no formal conversations between the Secret Service and the Trump campaign.
Earlier CNN had reported that there had been multiple conversations between the campaign and the agency.
“If she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do folks,” Trump told a North Carolina campaign rally on Tuesday. “Although the Second Amendment people, maybe there is, I don’t know,” he added, leading some critics to believe Trump was referring to gun violence against his rival.
