After a video reportedly showing her berating and belittling a vaccinated student for not wearing a mask went viral online, a Wisconsin teacher was put on administrative leave.
Although we don’t know anything about the teacher in question, there could be no stronger single piece of recent proof for abolishing teachers unions, abolishing tenure, and rebuilding the country’s education system from the ground up.
A young man was seen sitting up against a classroom wall as a teacher tore him to shreds in a disturbing video posted online this week — presumably because he dared to not wear a mask after being vaccinated, according to the video.
The instructor yelled at the student, “I don’t care if you’re vaccinated, you little dink,” “I don’t want to get sick and die. There’s other people you can infect just because you’re vaccinated.”
(Urban Dictionary defines “dink” as a word that can be used to identify a “idiot.”) During the Vietnam War, it was apparently also a slang word for the North Vietnamese.)
“You know what? You’re not a special person around here,” she added. “You should hear about how everybody talks about you. You’re a jerk. You’re a jerk. And you need to have respect for other people in your life. You’re not a big man on campus.”
The young man replied calmly, “OK,” and went on to say that, despite the teacher’s use of gaslighting and emotional coercion, he was unconcerned about how others on campus viewed him.

The incident occurred Tuesday at Poynette High School, according on a statement posted to Facebook by the Poynette School District.
District Administrator Matthew Shappell signed a letter, “The School District of Poynette is aware of an incident that occurred today, May 11th, involving a teacher and student at the Poynette High School, “The District is initiating an investigation and the teacher involved has been put on administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation.
“The District contacted the parents and we are taking steps to provide the appropriate support for the student involved,” the statement concluded.
The video’s teacher was not identified. Furthermore, it is unknown how many students were present when the incident occurred.
But its people like this lady, who claim to be educators, who make the case for a full rethinking of education after a year in which so many teachers placed children last. Although we weren’t present for the entire exchange, there’s no justification for a crazed pro-mask teacher berating a student in such a personal manner.
It’s one thing to yell at a lazy and entitled kid in sports or in a positive manner. This woman went all out, using classic emotional and psychological manipulation techniques, apparently over a mask, or rather the lack thereof.
Millions of students in the United States have been kept out of school for a year, largely due to the refusal of teachers and their unions to return to work.
One of those people scolded the young man in this video for not wearing a mask, despite the fact that he appeared to have been vaccinated. We don’t know if this teacher belongs to one of those unions, so there’s a fair chance she’s been vaccinated as well, which means she can only leave if she doesn’t feel comfortable being around other people.
After a year of being tormented by isolation due to lockdowns and school closures, children need structure, direction, and a high-quality curriculum.
They don’t need to be tormented by paranoid adults any longer.
