As the Democrat race for the the White House runs into Nevada for their Saturday primary, all the odds point to one hard-left big cheese for the winner. CNN’s “poll of polls” took a look at five different sets of numbers. What they show is that Democrats favor one candidate nearly two to one. Place your bets on Bernie Sanders, experts say.

Socialist Sanders the big cheese to radical progressives

According to CNN, Bernie Sanders is running “well ahead” of the Democrat race pack “after strong showings in Iowa and New Hampshire.” The only member of Congress registered as a Socialist has captured nearly 30% of the market share so far, making him the big cheese to Democ-rats. His 28% is nearly double that of his closest competitor. Surprisingly, Barack Obama’s former Vice President, Quid Pro Joe Biden is still in the race. Even though he hasn’t been collecting delegates yet. Biden squeezed Michael Bloomberg out by a single percentage point. Biden is at 16% approval while Bloomberg bought his way onto the leader-board with a third place 15%.

Riding her lame pony along the campaign trail across the dry and dusty desert into Las Vegas, Pocahontas Elizabeth Warren raided only 13% of the polls. The Long shot surprise, Pete Buttigieg, has had a roller coaster ride. He’s managed to snag roughly the same number of candidates as Bernie and even held the lead until Iowa managed to count enough votes to tip it over to Bernie. Now he’s trailing along in 5th place again. CNN grudgingly gives him 10%. Amy Klobuchar can’t be counted out yet, even though she admits she’s only in it to influence the others at this point. Tom Steyer might as well hang it up and stop wasting time and money.

A newcomer to the Debate stage

This Wednesday, billionaire Mike Bloomberg will get his first grilling on stage. Up until now, he’s only been running one-sided glossy high-dollar campaign ads. He’s ready to blow his entire fortune trying to prevent President Donald Trump to be re-elected. He has all of the resources of Darth Soros backing him up. Bloomberg has been trying real hard to distance himself from his previous positions. He formerly made statements derogatory to Afro-Americans and Hispanics over the popular policy of “redlining” loans to minority neighborhoods. He once actually condoned the practice of throwing minorities up against the wall on general “stop and frisk” principals.

Bernie took the opportunity to slap upstart Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez around a little for her naive position on Medicare For All. She seems to think it’s a huge victory for progressive socialism. Bernie sent the freshman back to school. “I love Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. She has done more in her first year in Congress to transform politics, to get young people involved, than any freshman member of Congress that I can remember.” But… “But my view is that Medicare for All, the bill that we wrote, is in a sense already a compromise.”

If Big Cheese Bernie had his way, the law would go into full effect on day one, instead of being phased in over four years. Democrats are relying on the strategy of phasing in the changes to minimize the impact on the voters. Like slowly boiling a frog.
