For people who have family members with Alzheimer’s disease or those who are suffering from the disease themselves, the fact that there’s no cure is heartbreaking. It’s a difficult disease that affects nearly five million Americans, and it typically leads to loss of memory and death.

While there is no cure for the disease, it is imperative that it be diagnosed as early as possible. An amazing new discovery shows that people with Alzheimer’s disease have a difficult time smelling odors with their left nostrils. See the test in action in the video below.
