President Trump Makes Good on Promise to Donate Salary — Here’s Where His First Quarter Went

Presidents make $400,000 in annual income.

During his campaign, Trump pledged he will not to take any of that money and will instead donate the full amount to benefit Americans.

“No, I’m not gonna take the salary. I’m not taking it,” he said in November.

Since his statement, the media has been watching closely, and has even criticized him for not providing “proof” that he is truly donating the money.

They even ridiculed Spicer after, in all seriousness, stating that the President is asking for recommendations on where the money should go;

However, White House spokesman Sean Spicer announced on Monday that Trump did, in fact ,refuse the first quarterly payment.

So, where did that money go?

Much to everyone’s surprise…it went to a federal agency in charge of preserving America’s natural resources: The National Park Service.

Libs will be cheering for him any minute…

wait for it…..

Ok maybe not.

Trump will be the third U.S. president to forego his salary, following in the footsteps of John F. Kennedy and Herbert Hoover.

I’m excited to see where the rest of the money will go!
