‘Civil rights activist’, and race baiting Jesse Jackson has exhorted Barack Obama to pardon Hillary Clinton in a move that he believes would help heal the country. Mr Jackson made the plea along with the college students who were in attendance at a anti-racism rally at the University of Michigan this last Wednesday.
He spewed out the same old rhetoric that the left have chosen to implement this post-election, and that is assigning fault with those who voted for Trump:
‘In this election, voters voted for fear. I think hope will defeat hate, but it’s a battle.’
Jackson called on Obama to do what President Gerald Ford did for President Richard Nixon, and that was a full pardon for any crimes he may have committed…like ‘Water Gate’.
Referring to that very event, Jackson said:
‘It would be a monumental moral mistake to pursue the indictment of Hillary Clinton. President Ford said we don’t need him for trophy. We need to move on. President Nixon wasn’t convicted of a crime. He didn’t apply for a pardon. (Ford) did it because he thought it would be best for the country. Hillary Clinton has not been tried, but there are those who want to drag her for the next three years. It will not stop until they find a reason to put her in jail. That would be a travesty.’
Just last week The White House refused to rule out the possibility that President Obama would grant Hillary Clinton a pardon, and thus protect her from the Trump campaign promise to assign a special prosecutor to indict Hillary.
Donald Trump repeatedly threatened during his many campaign rallies that, if President, he would assign a special prosecutor to investigate Clinton. That threat seemed to take a back seat according to his ’60 Minutes’ interview, in which he was very hesitant to pursue her prosecution.
