This Boy With Down Syndrome Kept Getting Rejected For A Dance, Then His Mom Lost It With What Happened Next…

All year, teenagers look forward to the high school homecoming dance. Daniel Rivas was looking forward to it, too. He wanted nothing more than to attend his own school’s dance, but there was just one problem: He couldn’t find a date.

Daniel, 17, who has Down syndrome, tried asking a girl to be his date, but she declined. When Kylie Fronius heard of the rejection, she decided to step up (Watch the heartwarming video below).

You see, when Daniel was in the 10th grade, he developed a close friendship with Kylie. Somehow, the word that he didn’t have a Homecoming date got back to her and she decided to do something about it. That’s when she put an amazing plan in place.

Kylie stood on the school’s campus holding a big sign asking if he would go with her. When Daniel saw it, he was overwhelmed with emotion. He accepted her offer, sealing the deal with a big hug.

“Someone took the time to take my son to homecoming,” said Daniel’s mother, Tonya Rivas. “Words can’t even describe what I’m feeling right now.”

Video of Kylie asking Daniel to homecoming went viral and KVVU covered the story.

“I don’t think of kids that have a disability… I don’t think of them as being different,” Kylie told KVVU. “I hope I can make his night fun.”

Tonya Rivas, Daniel’s mother was stunned by Kylie’s gesture. She said, “It’s not that Daniel has a disability. It’s Kylie didn’t see any disability. That is what your heart wants as a mom.”

When the word of Kylie’s fine gesture began to spread around school. someone suggested that the Fox5 Surprise Squad on the KVVU channel send a surprise team to the homecoming dance to do a feature on the pair.

Kylie and Daniel had just taken the usual pre-dance photos when Fox5 sent a Rolls Royce to take the couple to the dance in fine fashion.

That wasn’t all, though. On the way, they made a pit stop at a luxury restaurant where the pair could eat together alongside Daniel’s mom.

“I usually drive past here often, but always think it’s completely impossible to bring the kids here because it’s so expensive,” Daniel’s mom told Fox5.

That wasn’t the end of it, though. No, after Kylie and Daniel had their fun at the homecoming dance, Fox5 revealed that they were sending them both to Disneyland with their families.

But wait for it…they also gifted this beautiful girl with a new car. As for Daniel, Las Vegas United Nissan gave him a $10,000 scholarship so he can pursue his career dreams. This just goes to show that with a little bit of kindness, good things come your way.
