Tom Cotton Stepped Up And Ripped Coward Garland To Pieces!

During a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing Wednesday, Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark), blasted Joe Biden’s radical, far-left Attorney General Merrick Garland, chastising him for his memo to Justice Department employees about intervening in violence, threats, and intimidation targeting school board officials.

Sen. Cotton unloaded on AG Garland and told him that he “should resign in disgrace.”

Sen. Cotton noted that AG Garland has cited news reports – in addition to a letter from the National School Boards Association – as inspiring his memo.

Senator Cotton then asked AG Garland about when the threatening letter was prepared.

“You’ve cited, as the basis for that directive, the National School Board Association’s letter of September 29th.  Was that directive being prepared before September 29th, before the school board association letter was issued?”

Garland replied, “I don’t believe so, certainly, I didn’t have any idea…”

“Okay. So, it was only prepared after—okay. I think that answers the question,” Cotton continued.

Cotton said, “So, you keep citing the school board letter and news reports. One of those news reports cited in that letter that you presumably mean is from Loudon County, Virginia.” Senator Cotton unloaded on Biden’s radical AG because of his handling to a Loudon County parent.

Scott Smith, a Loudon County parent blasted board members for their transgender policy that opened the door for his 15-year-old daughter to be raped in the bathroom by a boy dressed as a girl was forcefully removed from a school board meeting.

Garland replied, “No, that’s not what I was talking about.”

The Arkansas Republican then brought up one of the more high-profile instances of a parent being arrested for conduct at a school board meeting, where Scott Smith was charged with disorderly conduct after demanding answers regarding how his daughter was allegedly sexually assaulted in a girls’ bathroom at school by a boy who had reportedly been wearing women’s clothing.

Cotton said, “Well, you keep citing news reports and that’s the most prominent news report that anyone in America has seen.”

“That refers to Scott Smith, whose 15-year-old daughter was raped. She was raped in a bathroom by a boy wearing girl’s clothes, and the Loudon County School Board covered it up because it would have interfered with their transgender policy during Pride Month. And that man, Scott Smith, because he went to a school board and tried to defend his daughter’s rights was condemned internationally! Do you apologize to Scott Smith and his 15-yr-old daughter, judge?” He continued.

Merrick Garland refused to apologize so Cotton ripped into him.

“Judge! This is shameful! This testimony. Your directive. Your performance is shameful! Thank God you are not on the Supreme Court. You should resign in disgrace, Judge!” Cotton said.

AG Garland tried to explain that the First Amendment protects Scott Smith. Senator Cotton interrupted AG Garland to remind him of his threat against parents who protest at school board meetings, and how the Left has framed them as domestic terrorists for speaking out on behalf of their children.
