Of all the foreign policy blunders hanging like albatrosses around the necks of President Barack Obama and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, the destabilization of Libya is arguably one of the biggest.
Democrat presidential nominee Clinton was part and parcel of the operation to topple the regime of Moammar Gadhafi, and the thousands of lives lost in the chaos afterwards, including the four Americans killed in a terrorist attack in Benghazi four years ago, all stemmed from her decision to get involved in regime change in that country.
Thus, it struck some people as kind of odd when Clinton proudly declared during the recent Commander in Chief Forum about her actions in Libya that, “We did not lose a single American in that action.”
The utterance has lead some to question if she even remembered that Benghazi was located in Libya, particularly given the multitude of rumors regarding the status of Clinton’s mental health.
Really? @HillaryClinton said we “didn’t lose a single American in Libya”. She does know #Benghazi is in Libya right? #NBCNewsForum

Of course, Clinton was technically correct, in that no American lives were lost during the specific military actions that lead to Gadhafil’s overthrow by local militias armed and supported by the U.S. and Western allies.
Ambassador Chris Stevens and his staff were unavailable for comment.
So what is this? Her inner attorney coming out?
