When learning to drive, my mother always told me, “You can’t just worry about your own driving, but also the driving of everyone else on the road.”
And it’s true…road conditions can change in the blink of an eye, and even the smallest move can initiate a deadly chain reaction. After witnessing this extreme truck crash in Dubai, I’m not sure I’ll be able to jam out to my favorite tunes in the car or anything else that might cause me to take my eyes off the road for even a second.
One cement truck made a sudden stop and was struck from behind by another truck, which in turn was bumped by another. Before long, a chain of at least 10 service trucks were stranded in the left lane of the highway.
The irony is that the crash was probably caused by multiple people not paying attention to the road in front of them…and yet, the person filming this crash was doing just that. Keep your eyes in front of you and stay safe out there, everyone!
