Did Biden Let Slip He’s Gonna Jail People For Being A Republican?

On Wednesday, Joe Biden appeared in an episode of “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” Biden take shots at his White House predecessor and the “hard right” Republican Party in an interview that was dominated by gun control talk.

Biden wasted no time in taking aim at Republicans saying, “A lot of it is intimidation by the NRA. Look, this is not your father’s Republican Party. This is a MAGA party.”

Kimmel, who is typically a left-leaning host, pushes the narrative of Joe Biden. Instead of talking about the mass shortages and ongoing inflation Biden claimed the country is moving forward and his proof was because commercials now have biracial couples.

This sit-down interview with Disney-owned ABC late-night host Jimmy Kimmel is a way to rescue Biden from all bad publicity while breaking 120 days of self-imposed press silence.

I’m not kidding he literally said this, take a look:

Biden would follow up his awkward remarks by saying in order to make progress Republicans need to be sent to jail.

More details of this sit-down interview from the Washington Examiner report:

Following President Joe Biden’s appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live Wednesday in Los Angeles, California, social media reaction slammed the interview.

The president spent much of the interview discussing gun control, abortion, and the economy while blasting former President Donald Trump and Republicans.

“I often get asked, ‘Look, the Republicans don’t play it square, why do you play it square?’ Well, guess what! If we do the same thing they do, our democracy will literally be in jeopardy,” Biden said. “Not a joke.”

Kimmel equated Washington, D.C. politics and Republicans to that of playing the game “Monopoly” with people who do not follow the rules.

“How do you ever make any progress if they’re not following the rules?” Kimmel asked.

“Well, you have to send them to jail,” Biden joked, referencing the board game.

Fox News got some scoop from Joe Biden’s interview:

Joe Biden appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” for his first network interview in 118 days on Wednesday night.

The president kicked off his first in-person appearance on a late-night talk show by discussing gun control efforts with comedian and host Jimmy Kimmel. Biden wasted no time in taking aim at Republicans saying, “A lot of it is intimidation by the NRA. Look, this is not your father’s Republican Party. This is a MAGA party.”

Kimmel then questioned Biden about the possibility of issuing an executive order on gun control, saying former President Donald Trump “passed those out like Halloween candy.”

The president responded, “I have issued executive orders within the power of the presidency to be able to deal with everything having to do with guns, gun ownership… all of the things that are within my power.”

He went on to accuse Trump of abusing the Constitution, saying he doesn’t want to “emulate” his predecessor.

“But what I don’t want to do, and I’m not being facetious, I don’t want to emulate Trump’s abuse of the constitution and constitutional authority,” Biden said.

Biden made multiple appearances on Stephen Colbert’s “Late Show” before his election and last came on Kimmel’s show in 2019 when he was fighting his own party for the Democratic nomination.

During the subsequent presidential campaign, he consented to further interviews, although the outcomes might not have always have been as he expected:
