Protests are breaking out across the country, as many people who voted for someone other than Trump can’t understand why they don’t always get what they want and think they’re part of a “movement” by protesting the election results.
These videos should be used as a learning tool for protesters. While it is well within your first amendment right to assemble, it is not your right to put other people in harms way when doing so.

Sometimes politics can be divisive and infuriating but people should never resort to putting themselves, and others in harms way. There are plenty of effective ways to make your voice heard that does not involve risky behaviour as exhibited in the video below.

What gets me is that they stand in front of a moving vehicle, threaten the safety of the driver and sometimes damage the vehicle, then are shocked and horrified when they get crushed and splattered. Imagine the stupidest dog in the world: if it sees a car coming and is physically able, it will at least try to get out of the way, regardless of the driver’s politics; not leftist protesters, however.

The drivers started going through slowly giving them a chance to move out of the way. Some people lose their jobs or fail exams or miss lectures in school if they are not somewhere. People have the right to protest, but not have the right to purposely block traffic. They should have been arrested. They know it’s against the law to block traffic. The law should be passed to make it legal for cars to move forward during protests because these people need to know they are not allowed to block traffic and he rewarded for it. Furthermore if you want people to agree with you this is not the way to do it. If anything people see you as the problem and the opposite would be what they think: no support.
