Some of us are lucky enough to have never been seated with annoying people before. Those who have can attest just how annoying it is getting stuck for hours next to that one self-centered, disgusting, egoist passenger. Especially a woman with long hair who keeps flipping her hair back and blocking your only entertainment on board.
This is exactly what happened to a viral TikTok video that garnered more than 97 million views.
The TikTok video posted by a woman named Janelle Elise Flom @janelleelise shows what appears to be the ultimate act of revenge for constantly having your personal space on an airplane by a woman who is so completely self-centered that she believes it to be okay to flip her hair up over the seatback despite the fact that someone is sitting directly behind her.
Throw in the fact that the woman not only did it more than once, her actions completely covered up the TV on her seatback rendering it useless to the passenger behind her, and it’s easy to see how things could escalate.
In her revenge, she first smashes chewed gum into the hair. You’d think that would be enough punishment, but then the woman goes on to trim sections of hair using a nail clipper. Next, she sticks a lollipop in it, and finally, she dunks a handful into her coffee, only taking a break from her vengeance to let a flight attendant walk by so she wouldn’t be caught.
Worst of all, it doesn’t even do the trick as the video shows the passenger in front continuing to throw her hair, and all the stuff in it, over the seatback again and again – even after the woman behind her pushes it back over the seat.
It’s pretty epic revenge but is it real? It seems highly unlikely that the long-haired passenger wouldn’t feel someone touching her hair, but one commenter explained why that might be, writing:
“I believe those are extensions, as she hasn’t reacted. If those were real hair, I would have flipped back immediately, coz I know I’ll feel if someone has touched the very tip of my hair… but I’m just sensitive I guess… still, if that’s extensions, they’re still expensive.”
While another noted, “I have long hair and I don’t feel the ends being touched. I guess it depends on sensitivity.”
One commenter pointed out: “Come on thats a wig! Totally staged! You think after she flipped it she didn’t feel all that stuff in her hair!”
Bottom line, I think viewer Courtney Smith speaks for us all when she commented, “No way she doesn’t feel that but I support you sis.”
I choose to believe the video is real, just because I want it to be and you can’t tell me otherwise.
