She’s also seen pivotal moments in history, such as the sinking of the Titanic.
As she marked her milestone birthday, Bessie was surrounded by her loving family. Her eldest daughter, Joan Schaffer, who turned ninety just a day before Bessie’s celebration, joined her younger siblings, Shirley, Glenda, and Leon.
