Trey Gowdy Just REVEALED Why Dems Aren’t Supporting Biden!

On Wednesday, in an interview with America’s Newsroom the former Republican Congressman and Fox News host Trey Gowdy, reacted to reports from The New York Times indicating that intelligence experts warned President Biden of a potential Afghan military collapse.

Gowdy noted in his appearance that Democrats are largely remaining silent on the crisis in the Middle East.

Here’s an excerpt report from Fox News:

Gowdy told Fox News, “When the New York Times is criticizing a Democrat administration it must be really, really bad. So, I think we’re in this mode of people trying to cover their own careers, I think you have a very compelling case that the media in this country—90% of it is doing the heavy lifting.”

“But, look I was in the House, I went rushing towards the television camera when there was bad news on our side,” he added. “What would they [Democrats] tell you if they were on? I mean they’re gonna claim to have hearings and hope that we forget. But, the images of people falling from airplanes, the images of women and girls and children being beaten to death by a group that we were negotiating with—how would you explain it?”

This comes days after Gowdy questioned if America has “kept our word” with the situation in Afghanistan.

He asked. “The question is – have we kept our word? Have we kept our word to the world that if you attack America, we will follow you to the ends of the Earth to mete out our punishment? No matter how long it takes. Have we kept our word to one another that never again will an attack like this happen on American soil?”

“Have we kept our word to those who took a chance on us?” Gowdy continued. “To those Afghans who supported and aided our cause? To the Afghan women living in oppression with no equality or due process? To the Afghan women who believed us when we said America is a country of freedom, and light, and opportunity. To the Afghan children, what will they think of when they think of America?”

And he called this action as “great nations keep their word.”

“If we’re leaving Afghanistan safer and freer and better for Afghan women and girls, then bring our troops home,” he said. “If not, great nations keep their word. Even and especially when it’s hard to do so.
