On Saturday night Former President Donald Trump has made a promise to pardon the people involved and charged during the January 6th incident at the capitol building if ever he wins the 2024 presidential election.

Trump held a rally in Conroe, Texas last Saturday night wherein an estimated 50,000 Trump supporters turned out to support Trump.

Though he hasn’t confirmed if he will run for president again after the 2020 election he made a promise to those people involved in the January 6 capitol incident.

During his rally, President Trump praised the Canadian truckers and their historic Freedom Convoy today. He also gave a shout-out to Catherine Engelbrecht and True the Vote and their work on Democrat ballot trafficking in several battleground states.

“Another thing we’ll do, and so many people have been asking me about it, if I run and if I win, we will treat those people from Jan. 6 fairly,” Trump said to applause. “We will treat them fairly. And if it requires pardons we will give them pardons. Because they are being treated so unfairly.”

Here’s the full statement of Former President Donald Trump:

President Trump: If I run and if I win we will treat those people from January 6 fairly. We will treat them fairly. And if it requires pardons we will give them pardons. Because they are being treated so unfairly. This hasn’t happened to all the other atrocities that took place. Nothing like this has happened. What that Un-Select Committee is doing and what the people are doing that are running those prisons, it is a disgrace!
