Robert De Niro hijacked the Screen Actors Guild Awards to spew more of his socialist drivel. He’s been having a hard time getting his face in front of a camera these days, so the Actors Guild threw him a bone and came across with the 2020 Life Achievement Award. The trophy is almost as tall as he is.

As USA Today writes, De Niro’s “never one to shy away from using his platform to make political statements.” Speaking of platforms, have you noticed his shoes?

De Niro is overly sensitive about his smallish stature and makes up for it with elevator shoes and a giant sized ego. “If I have a bigger voice because of my situation, I’m going to use it,” he declared Sunday night.

The devout socialist began by praising SAG-AFTRA, the TV and radio labor union, for “fighting tirelessly for our workplace and economic gains and respect.”

De Niro wants more socialists in power. “Political leaders who support unions are more likely to support the Affordable Care Act,” he insists. Most of America calls it “Obamacare” and we’re still trying to drive a stake through it’s heart.

He also called for higher taxes, open borders, climate change restrictions, LGBTQ rights, abortion, gun restrictions and a higher minimum wage. He used all the liberal buzz words though. As he put it, “equitable taxes, humane immigration regulations, a safe environment, a diverse citizenry, reproductive rights, sensible gun control and fair wages and benefits.” The progressive audience cheered.

He couldn’t wait to rip into his favorite foe, President Donald Trump. He wasn’t brave enough to mention the president by name though. “There’s right and there’s wrong and there’s common sense and there’s abuse of power,” he whined. “We’re in such a dire situation, so deeply concerning to me and to so many others, I have to say something.”

De Niro is a big fan of impeachment and is on record saying he “can’t wait to see [President Trump] in jail.”

“We have a gangster president who thinks he can do anything he wants,” he opined back in October. “The problem is, if he actually gets away with it, then we all have a problem. The gall of the people around him who actually defend him, these Republicans, is appalling, and we must do something about it.”

This is one more perfect example of how Hollywood controls the liberal masses by monopolizing the media message.

It’s reached the point where we live in two separate Americas. A liberal one on the coasts, dominated by movies in California and television in New York, against all the people who do things, make things, and grow things in the heartland of our Great Nation.
