Democratic Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren mask-less at a New Mexico wedding in violation of the state’s new indoor mask mandate.
Photos obtained by the Washington Free Beacon show Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) alongside actual Native Americans partying indoors at Secretary of the Interior Deb Haaland’s wedding without masks in violation of New Mexico’s public health restrictions. An Interior Department spokesman told the Free Beacon that guests at the wedding “were required to be vaccinated and wear masks” in accordance with “CDC guidance and New Mexico’s public health orders.”
“The re-implemented mask requirement applies to all individuals aged 2 and older in all indoor public settings—except when eating or drinking,” the governor’s press release for the order states. “The indoor mask requirement will be effective Friday, Aug. 20. It will remain in effect until at least September 15.”
An Interior Department spokesman, who is a former employee of Media Matters for America, told the Free Beacon guests at the wedding “were required to be vaccinated and wear masks” in accordance with “CDC guidance and New Mexico’s public health orders,” but did not comment on the photographic evidence that contradicted this claim.
“Bruce and I were so happy to celebrate Deb and Skip this weekend,” Warren wrote on Facebook after the wedding.

The incidents come on the heels of former President Barack Obama’s massive exclusive birthday party at Martha’s Vineyard, which coincided with a spike in coronavirus cases that is threatening to overrun the island’s only hospital.
The DCNF has kept track of many Democratic politicians and local lawmakers who have spurned their own COVID-19 rules throughout the pandemic to attend President Joe Biden’s inauguration and the lawmakers who flouted their own advice and then excused their behavior as essential, compiling lists of the biggest offenders such as Democrats New York City Mayor Bill DeBlasio, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and many more.
