What Trump Just Did To US Gov’t Will Go Down In History As Day Democracy Was Saved

President Trump once again has made good on his promises to the United States.

The Trump Administration has officially announced this past week that they will be adding a question about citizenship to the census. The left however is not pleased with President Trump’s decision to add a citizenship question to the 2020 census. Commerce Department Secretary Wilbur Ross made the official decision to add the question.

Back in December of 2017, the Justice Department made an argument over including a citizenship question. The Justice Department felt it would allow for better enforcement of Section 2 of the Voting rights Act. This will be the first time a question about citizenship will be included on the census since 1950.

Democrats claim this is an unwise decision and believe it will “scare” people from participating, leading to a decreased census count. It seems President Trump is the only one thinking logically anymore.

According to subjectpolitics:

The Democrats are up in arms over Trump’s latest common sense decision and their opposition is very telling.

The media, never missing a chance to bash Trump joined the barrage proving beyond a shadow of a doubt they have lost all impartiality.

How else to explain the backlash from Trump’s decision to actually ask census takers if they are citizens?

Commerce Department Secretary Wilbur Ross saidwhen announcing the new policy, “I find that the need for accurate citizenship data and the limited burden that the reinstatement of the citizenship question would impose outweighs fears about a potentially lower response rate.”

He then took a shot at the Democrats only hope to win the midterms in 2018 – redistricting:

“To fully enforce those requirements, the Department needs a reliable calculation of the citizen voting-age population in localities where voting rights violations are alleged or suspected.”

Correct. We need to count US citizens for a number of reasons, not the least of which is how we elect the US House of Representatives is based on these numbers.

The House will be key in 2018 and many things, like Trump’s survival, hang in the balanceof that election.

The census will not impact that election but it will be the determining factor in every election after 2020.

We need an accurate count and we need a legal count or will fall into anarchy.
