There is a mother in Texas who is in some serious legal hot water because she posed as her 13-year-old daughter and snuck into a local middle school. She claimed that she did this because she was attempting to make an alleged effort to expose what she sees as security flaws at schools.
What Happened?
30-year-old Casey Garcia was booked last Tuesday on charges of tampering with government records and criminal trespass for impersonating her daughter and infiltrating the San Elizario Independent School District, as reported by the El Paso Times.
The court records indicate that she stands 4 feet and 11 inches talls and weighs 105 pounds soaking wet. She called this little dalliance a “social experiment.” Well, even though she documented this “social experiment” and even posted it on social media, she is going to have to face some legal repercussions for this. Granted, she did claim that she made it all the way to the seventh period before she was noticed.
Garcia posted a video on YouTube that showed just how she was able to sneak into the middle school and post as her daughter. Apparently, she used skin tanner and hair dye and that helped her look more like her daughter.
In order to get into the middle school, she breached security by using her daughter’s ID number and giving a false report that she had signed in. They didn’t ask her to show a physical ID card. After that, she even said hello to the principal and other members of the faculty and then attended her daughter’s classes.
She posted another video about her efforts at breaching the security of the middle school called, “Why I posed as my 13 year old daughter. A raw but real answer” and in this video she said that throughout most of the day teachers were more concerned about her phone being out than whether there was real security at the middle school.
“I think the deal breaker for me was actually walking in and posing as a seventh-grader. I mean, I’m no spring chicken, but it wasn’t hard. And I made it to all seven periods, until the last teacher, she was female, and she said, ‘Julie, can you stay after class?’ And I said absolutely. She looked at me and she [said], ‘You’re not Julie.'”
“No, I’m not,” Garcia recalled replying. “I took off my glasses, I took off my mask, and I said, ‘No, I’m not Julie. I’m Julie’s mom.'”
What else?
Garcia defended her decision to infiltrate the middle school by claiming that the only reason she did it was to expose just how lax the security at some of these schools could truly be. She also claimed that the reason she did this was to possibly help prevent some future school shootings.
“I’m telling you now, we need better security at our schools. This is what I tried to prove,” she said. “I think that I did prove it. We need metal detectors and I don’t think that backpacks are a good idea. The only reason I did this was to prove a point.”
She also had to respond to critics who thought that her decision to infiltrate the middle school was totally “nuts.” She said, “Absolutely, it’s nuts, because you don’t understand my integrity, and you don’t understand why I did it, and you don’t understand if there was a purpose for me doing it or not.”
Well, I’m not questioning her integrity, but there is a reason why we decided to call her a “sicko” in the title. No, she probably isn’t a pervert, but her logic is flawed. What do you want to bet that she is a liberal? Well, folks, instead of taking this issue to the school board like a registered Republican would, she has to do this elaborate “plan” that just turned people off. It’s going to prevent school shootings, eh? Well, what if it only ENCOURAGES a pervert to try sneaking into a middle school themselves? Like I’ve said before, the road to hell is paved with good intentions.
