‘The Ultimate Sacrifice’: NFL Player to Wear Custom Cleats to Honor Colin Kaepernick

NFL controversy is set to intensify as Rishard Matthews plans to wear special Colin Kaepernick cleats.

The Tennessee Titans wide receiver, Rishard Matthews, posted to Instagram to relay his decision about this coming Sunday’s game. Apparently kneeling during the national anthem isn’t quite good enough so Matthews has had a custom pair of cleats made in homage to none other than the NFL’s down fall creator, Colin Kaepernick. I’m sure this is going to go over well, so much for the possibility of some kind of compromise. If players are willing to ramp up the controversy they better believe the angered fans will let their displeasure be known.

Via Fox News:

Wide receiver Rishard Matthews shared a photo of the “Know Your Rights” cleats, which also include a drawing of Kaepernick and the name “Colin” on them.

Matthews wrote: “I dont have a foundation so i have chosen to support my brother @kaepernick7 foundation @yourrightscamp for #MyCauseMyCleats He has paid the ultimate sacrifice in order to bring true everyday issues to light.”

What a ridiculous thing to waste money on, not only are these shoes offensive they’re also out of uniform which just goes to show that players really do believe that they can do whatever they want rather than act as someone at WORK is expected to, ya know like listening to your boss and not talking back. What a concept.
